This weekend will be one that we will remember our entire lives! Friday afternoon/evening we had many friends help us move into our new house in Raleigh...our first home. We haven't yet finished our painting and have experienced some setbacks, but we live here now!
And more exciting than that...Brendan is getting baptized tomorrow! He's not quite sure how to do the whole "blog" thing yet, but he'll add a post in the next few days about his baptism. We'll also be able to include a video of his grace story - the incredible change that trusting in Jesus has brought about in his life. This video will also be played during our worship services at Southbridge Fellowship before the baptisms take place. Since our church meets in a movie theater, we do baptisms at the pool at a local apartment complex.
I'm excited to share pictures and more stories about the weekend with y'all! Last week, one of the pastors of our church, Scott Lehr, talked about the "milestones" in our lives...the times that we are able to look back on and say "Wow, I really experienced God providing for me during that moment/situation!" Brendan and I are grateful that we already have many milestones to look back on and be reminded of how God is always doing immeasureably more in our lives than we could ever imagine (Eph. 5:20)...this weekend will be just another mark of God's work in our lives. Can you look back to milestones in your own life when God did far more than you could imagine?
