One Thousand Gifts - Post #10

holy experience

Ah, another Monday. It is already a beautiful day here in Madrid. I've got all our windows open and am ready for the heat. Actually, I'm not ready for it but it's coming anyways. :) We'll have to break down and buy an air conditioner soon.

We had a great weekend, and I'm excited about the week ahead. Nothing exciting planned but Brendan has the day off on Thursday, and I'm just really content right now with the time I have to be at home with my daughter and to make our flat a "home"....I'm really just learning how grateful I am to be given time to take care of my family. Thank you, Lord! Also, on Thursday, we hope to make it down to Retiro for a big book fair...oh, I am soooo excited about this! Just hoping to find some books in English. :) Brendan said that he and Charlotte will be taking a nap under a shade tree while I walk around the hundreds of stalls of books. To be fair, I asked him if he wanted to spend his day off at home or going to this book fair, and he said the book fair sounded good.

The gratitude list continues....
